Robbie Knightesd - Career Goal Essay

My career goal in life is to become a professional baseball player. This is my dream job that I want to achieve. This is my career goal in life because I love baseball very much. When I play baseball and I step onto that field its like nothing else matters (besides my family).When I play baseball I feel free. Most of all I think playing baseball is very fun and allows me to be myself. Before I achieve my career goal I would like to go to college and play college baseball. The one person that has t he greatest influence on me in my life is Derek Jeter. I look up to Derek Jeter because he is a very successful professional baseball player. Not only because he is a very successful baseball player but I admire him because he is a great person and has great character. I expect that City Rocks AAU-14 Black Travel Basketball team to impact my life a lot and halp me achieve my goal by helping me learn that perfect parctice makes perfect! Also by teaching me to hustle and work hard at everything I do.

On a scale of 1-10 I would gauge my academic effort as a 10. I have rated myself that high because I feel that I have really pushed myself to get good grades and to keep my average above 90%. I have reached that goal every markking period every GPA I have recieved has been above 90%. These are the reasons that I would rate my effort over the past year as a 10.
