Player EssaysNate Robinson - Career Goal EssayI have a lot of dream jobs but the first thing that comes to mind when I am asked that question is to play in the NBA. I do not want to be in it for the money I want to be in it because I love the game. Just like any other job being in the NBA would be my passion. The thing that has influenced me the most would be the election of Barack Obama as president of the United States and him being inaugurated on the steps of the capitol where slaves formally worked. This has influenced me the most in my life because it shows that an African American can now do anything they want even be the president of the united states of America and interrupt the status quo. Also it gives me the strength I need to know if I don't go to the NBA I have so many other possibilities to do when I grow up. The influence that I expect the City Rocks AAU-14 black travel team to have on my life and my career is a great influence. This is because I am going to learn how to play much more aggressive and faster with better computational of this is really going to help me in the long run because it will force me to have better habits and work ethics. On a scale form 1-10 I rate my academic effort in the past year about a 7 or an 8. This is because I have not been not working up to my compatibilities and trying hard, but I have also been getting alright grades but its not a 10 because I know I can do much more and much more of what is expected of me.
