Buddy Boeheim was locked in from the blow of the opening whistle, hitting five trey's throughout the game on his way to 23 hard-earned points. However, neither his nor teammate Naz Carter's best efforts were enough to overcome the balance and athleticism of the red-hot Cal Supreme.

While it was a back-and-forth battle in the first half, the Supreme pulled away down the stretch with suffocating defense, nonstop effort and efficient decision-making on the offensive end. Bol Bol and partner in crime Shareef O'Neal were both all over the floor, which gave the City Rocks bigs headaches trying to cover them both inside and out.

Bol would finish with 17 points, 11 boards and another seven blocks, commanding the rim as he does and helping getting the offense going. He was never far from a missed basket or long pass, deflecting and collecting putbacks all game long.

O'Neal poured in 11 of his own to go with seven rebounds, and he was always one of the first ones down the court. Tevian Jones was another beneficiary of the transition game, scoring 11 as well and getting plenty of open looks from the big men.

Boeheim, who has been capable of putting up a lot of points for some time now, and he got going early which helped keep City Rocks in the game. Carter put up 20 to go with his stat-stuffing six boards and four dimes, but aside from those two it was tough for City Rocks to find any consistent offense.

In the end, while the two squads looked fairly evenly matched early on, by the middle of the second half the stamina and energy from the Supreme won out, especially once City Rocks went cold from the outside. The Supreme will look to keep gunning for the top overall seed come Peach Jam as the weekend progresses.
