Quade Green | PSA Cardinals (NY) | Guard

Green made his presence felt in a big way in NYC, putting up ridiculous assist numbers, playing relentless on-ball defense, and controlling the pace of every game he played in. While PSA was already going to be a team to watch out for, Green has taken the entire offense to a whole new level with his ability to see plays before they happen, get everyone involved, and set teammates up for easy buckets. In addition to averaging over 10 assists per game, Green did his part in the scoring column as well, averaging nearly 14 per while shooting it well from long range. A shifty player who can get anywhere he wants to on the floor whenever he wants, Green should continue to drop dimes and lead PSA to even greater heights as he adjusts to the speed of the EYBL.

Trae Young | MOKAN Elite (KS) | Guard

One of the fastest risers in his class a year ago, Young has made it clear he plans on making another big jump this spring by putting up unbelievably efficient offensive numbers during the first session. Sixty percent is a phenomenal shooting percentage for any position; it’s almost unheard of for a guard who controls the ball as much as Young. The sharpshooter was feeling it early and often from all three levels scoring the rock, and was also a great facilitator throughout the weekend. Not a one-dimensional player by any means, Young also showed his quick hands and instincts by racking up steals. Not impressed yet? Young also took home Offensive Player of the SessionPerformance of the Session and Team of the Session.

Anthony Gaines | Albany City Rocks | Forward

Without a doubt the surprise of the opening weekend and one of the fastest risers in his class, Gaines was outstanding on both ends of the floor and is a huge reason why his City Rocks emerged from the trenches with a 3-0 mark. Gaines played like a man possessed and simply put City Rocks on his back for long stretches, complementing Andrew Platek’s perimeter-oriented game with his dominance around the rim. One look at Gaines’ offensive numbers tells a lot of the story, but his 3 steals per contest ranks ahead of every guard on the circuit and is unheard of for a player his size. Gaines has arrived and is unlikely to go anywhere.

Michael Porter | MOKAN Elite (KS) | Forward

The other half of MOKAN’s two-headed monster that may well be the best scoring duo in the country, Porter lived up to his lofty ranking by shooting the lights out and getting to the free throw line at will. The chemistry Porter and Young have is obviously something very special to anyone who witnesses it, and having a great point guard he knows will find him makes Porter’s game much more relaxed and free-flowing. Though his numbers are great, we all knew this young man could score. A big reason for MOKAN’s success in NYC and continued dominance will be Porter’s ability to crash the boards with a vengeance, which he more than proved his ability to do game after game. He's a big reason MOKAN took home Team of the Session.

Mo Bamba | PSA Cardinals (NY) | Forward

Bamba was an absolute beast in NYC, averaging well over a double-double and making over two-thirds of his shot attempts. The physical style the EYBL is known for is tailored to Bamba’s size and skills, and it set the stage for the elite big man to make a statement right off the bat. Bamba has a polished post game that he used to butcher opponents in the paint, and he attacks the glass without peer. The key for the Georgia Stars to winning it all last year was the outstanding play they received from their bigs, and with Bamba leading the way the PSA Cardinals will have every opportunity to follow a similar blueprint to Peach Jam. Bamba's performance nabbed him Defensive Player of the Session.
